Thinking about the TS1 quilt that I made almost 10 years ago. The first quilt made from a generative digital render using #processing. The first time I tried piecing triangles in a non-repetitive way without really understanding the math. (Hello, freezer paper!) The first time I quilted something on a small domestic machine with the wrong presser foot (Oof!). I wish I’d saved more of these generative quilts but they all left for exciting journeys to other places. This first one is a reminder of all the skills built since the start. It’s the moment I knew what I wanted. It’s a snapshot in time. It’s well-loved.
